I just did a spit-take at the discount on this Iron Man helmet replica, because you can save a silly amount of cash right now

Despite checking multiple times to make sure it's the real deal, this Iron Man helmet replica price cut is still blowing my mind. I mean, roughly half off a premium Marvel Legends collectible? That's pretty excellent going, Black Friday or not.

Rather than the usual $155.99/£105, this wearable version of Iron Man's helmet (yep, you can actually put it on) is just $99.99 at Zavvi or £49.99 at Amazon. I've been covering toys and sales alike for quite some time now, but even I'm taken aback by that kind of price cut - it's very unusual for this kind of collectible, and most only get discounts of $30/£30 or so on their best days. With that in mind, I'd absolutely jump on the Iron Man helmet replica as soon as possible if you want a cool display piece.

This replica is one of many put together by Hasbro Pulse, which specializes in replicas and action figures for everything from Avengers to Star Wars. It's known for producing incredibly screen-accurate and well-made collectibles (like one of my favorite nerd possessions, the Darth Vader Force FX Elite Lightsaber), and its helmets are particularly good. Yes, they look just like their inspiration. But the weathering is usually next-level, making it feel as if someone stole it from a movie set. That's certainly the case with the new Daredevil Mask.

This particular helmet is based on Tony Stark's Mark LXXXV armour from Avengers: Endgame, so it's pretty sleek on the whole. Along with being wearable, the eyes also light up with that distinctive blue glow. Honestly, it's pretty gorgeous. I'm not the biggest Iron Man fan around, but even I'm tempted to pick this thing up. Someone, please stop me.
