Fact stranger than fiction? A hotel in orbit could open as soon as 2012, according to Space.com . Called Galactic Suites , the station (built in a molecule-like pod structure) will enable intrepid holidaymakers to experience such things as zero-G bathrooms. A three-day stay could cost around four million dollars, Reuters are reporting.

Folk gathered at Wizard World in Chicago on Friday saw the first footage of The Dark Knight (the sequel to Batman Begins). As well as the Joker, apparently in a police interrogation room, the attending crowd saw a shot of a spinning 50-cent piece which, along with Harvey Dent claiming to be “half” dead, seems to have confirmed speculation that Two-Face will be appearing.

Hayden “Claire Bennet” Panettiere says that in the second season of Heroes "she's really looking to figure out more about her powers, more about what she can do, how far she can push it… trust me, you will see plenty of blood, plenty of snaps and pops and crackles." (Check out SCI FI Wire ). Heroes season two begins in the US on 24 September, and the first season is airing on BBC2 in the UK. Don't forget that Panettiere is scheduled to be at the London Film and Comic Con on Sunday 2 September.

Old news by now, but if you didn't see The Sun last week, here's the latest Doctor Who cast rumour. The Sun reckons 63-year-old thesp Ben Kingsley is in negotiations to appear in the next season as a major bad-guy.
