2. Best PS5 deals

Black Friday may have come to an end, but there are still plenty of savings to be had when it comes to PlayStation's offerings this holiday season. The eye-watering is, of course, $100 off PS5 consoles and bundles – up to and including the brand-new limited edition Ghost of Yotei PS5 Slim bundles – but there are plenty more deals to be had from controllers to games to headsets, with many at record-low prices for significant savings.

Which is why everything here is something I can genuinely, truly say is an honest-to-goodness recommendation. I'm experienced enough to only suggest a PlayStation deal that's actually worth it rather than something that just happens to be cheap. In fact, many of these are deals that I'm tempted by myself – if I've not already bought them myself.

Even before I started my first ever hardware writer role, I've been wading my way through the best PlayStation deals to find a bargain. It just so happens that all of those years hunting for the best gaming deals have come in handy, and now I put that knowledge to use finding the best Sony price cuts in an official capacity. That means I know what separates a run-of-the-mill saving from a bargain, and which of those is worth sharing with you so that you get the best deal available.

When does Black Friday end?

Black Friday officially ends at the close of play on November 28, however, we usually find that most deals carry through the weekend before inevitably rolling straight into Cyber Monday. That means we're pretty much right in the middle of 2025's Black Friday savings right this very moment, which is why we're able to update this page full of fresh new PS5 gaming savings.

Keep an ear to the ground for deals like this one

PlayStation Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds product listing image

The PlayStation Pulse Explore wireless earbuds are still at a record-low price during this holiday sales event, and if you're in the market for a set of wireless earbuds to use with your PS5 then it's hard to go wrong here.

Notably, these earbuds have about five hours of battery life with an additional 10 tacked on to that via the charging case. Sure, you could use non-PlayStation wireless earbuds, but why would you when this set is at this price?

Let's get craftin' for cheap

Minecraft

Normally I'd not bother including such a relatively smaller deal – 17% off here comes out to just over $5 – but Minecraft is an exception to the rule. As a parent to small children, let me tell you something: they all want to play Minecraft.

If you're picking up a PS5 this holiday season for a kid or for any situation where a kid will also be playing it, Minecraft is hard to pass up at this price as it's technically a record-low price this week for the PS5 version. If you or your loved ones somehow don't already have access to the wildly popular sandbox game, it can't hurt to ensure there's a little Steve under the tree this coming December.

You're gonna want more PS5 storage

Seagate external hard drive for PlayStation 5TB product listing image

One thing that anyone with a PS5 knows and anyone buying a PS5 will soon find out is that those video games are incredibly beefy and take up a significant chunk of space on any kind of hard drive. If you're relying on even the PS5s with the biggest internal storage, you're almost certainly going to run out of space.

While this Seagate 5TB external hard drive for PlayStation consoles – PS5 and PS4 both – is technically $5 above its record-low price, I've been pretty impressed with my own version and would happily recommend it despite that slight difference. In general, I find that the storage I actually want doesn't go on sale very often, so it's good to take advantage of even relatively small deals.

Pick up Elden Ring for cheap

As part of the same running theme here of big chunky PS5 video games for cheap, Elden Ring on PS5 is currently 60% off at $19.99 over on Amazon. That is, to put it bluntly, a steal for FromSoftware's most recent Soulslike.

While this has technically been cheaper by roughly a quarter – as in, 25 cents – it's still a great deal even if not officially a record-low price for the popular video game. This is about as cheap as it gets to visit Elden Ring's Lands Between.

If a charging stand is more your style...

PowerA PlayStation Portal charging stand product image

While I'd previously mentioned that the PowerA hard shell case for the PlayStation Portal (with its pass-through charging cable capability) ultimately won out in my own search for a way to charge the PlayStation Portal, it's worth noting that this charging stand – also from PowerA – was my backup pick that I very nearly grabbed instead.

At full price, $37.99, the charging stand has been a bit too pricy for my taste over the past couple of months. But Black Friday has brought the price down 21% to a reasonable record-low price of $29.99. If you prefer a good stand and are in the market, or you know someone that is, this deal is hard to beat.

Hard to beat this PSVR 2 deal

Frontal review image for PSVR 2 with a controller on either side of the headset

If you are at all interested in using your PS5 to experience virtual reality and haven't already picked up the PlayStation VR2, this Black Friday is perhaps your best opportunity yet to rectify the situation.

The bundle that comes with Horizon Call of the Mountain, the Horizon VR game, is $100 right now. $299 is still a fairly heft price tag, of course, but if you're investing in VR for the PS5 the only other option is paying an additional $100 when it's not actually on sale. For what it's worth, I generally find the PSVR 2 to be the second-best VR headset for my own use – behind only the Meta Quest 3.

Even more JRPG goodness for you

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

Not to be a broken record about various fantasies and their finality, but I'd be remiss in not pointing out that the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade – the first part of the new remake series with the additional Yuffie episode – is currently sitting at a record-low price of $19.99 at Amazon. Regardless of how you might feel about Square Enix's decision to remake FF7, at that price it is hard to pass up.

A must-have if you buy a PS5 Pro

PS5 disc drive with grey backdrop

Look, yes, I know what I said about waiting for good deals to come if you're hunting for bargains, but as someone that's been watching the PS5 disc drive attachment like a hawk for months: there's no telling when that might happen here.

If you're looking to play physical PS5 discs on the PS5 digital edition or PS5 Pro, you'll need this accessory in order to do that. While the discount here (comparing PS Direct to Amazon) isn't significant, it is something, and who knows how long PlayStation will bother to carry these. As someone that regrets not buying more PlayStation TVs when they had the chance, I'd happily buy this now if I hadn't already done so earlier this year.

PS5 Disc Drive | $79.99 $79 at Amazon

A JRPG deal so good I bought it myself

Final Fantasy 16

If you're not fully stocked up on JRPGs already, the latest and greatest mainline Final Fantasy entry, Final Fantasy 16, is currently at its best price ever over on Amazon at $15. As a huge proponent of physical media, this specific deal was too good to pass up – despite the fact that I already own it digitally – and I ended up snapping it up for myself as well.

Even if you already own a copy, this price point is probably good enough to grab a few as gifts for any PS5 owners in your life. Alternatively, if you're just now picking up a PS5 console as part of the ongoing sales, Final Fantasy 16 makes for a perfectly suitable intro to the new hardware.

PlayStation Portal protection on the go

PowerA PlayStation Portal hard shell case product image

Here's a deal straight out of my own Amazon wish list: the PowerA hard shell case for the PlayStation Portal is currently 20% off at Amazon for Black Friday, which remains the lowest it's ever been thus far. I've been looking for something to keep my own PlayStation Portal safe, and this is the one that I've been eyeballing for several weeks myself.

Not only is PowerA a reliable brand for this sort of case, but this one specifically includes a pass-through where you can actually sit and charge it by passing the power cable through the case. I'm not a huge fan of charging stands taking up a whole bunch of space, so this really meets my needs – and is fairly inexpensive to boot.

Looking to catch up on Final Fantasy 7?

Sephiroth appears among the flames in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

The Amazon-exclusive edition of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the most recent entry in the JRPG remake series from Square Enix, for PS5 is currently on sale for $20 off. While not a deal that's going to light the world on fire, unlike what Sephiroth wants to do, this does match the previous record-low price for the PS5 game.

Also, not for nothing, this version comes with a PS5 controller skin featuring both Cloud and Sephiroth for anyone looking to trick out there DualSense controller. There are far worse things to spend your money on this deals season.

A friendly, timely reminder on deals

A close-up of Joel in The Last of Us part 1

Now is as good a time as any to remind folks that this is a marathon and not a sprint. If you have your eye on a specific PS5 deal, whether it be console or games, Black Friday deals often continue through the weekend and on into Cyber Monday. Just because something isn't on sale now doesn't mean it won't be.

In fact, from experience, some of the best Black Friday PS5 deals are either available immediately at the start of the savings event or at the absolute last-possible moment as a sort of closeout to the sale. If you're potentially looking at dropping a couple hundred dollars over this weekend, there's usually no harm in waiting and seeing just how low something might go. (I do recommend having a personal floor where you decide a deal is worth it. For example, maybe you'd buy a specific game if it hit $19.99 but not before then.)

Speaking of first-party PS5 games, this one ain't bad

God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok has been out for a minute or two now, so I'm not surprised to see it getting discounted, but all the way down to $19.99 is a pretty deep cut for such a blockbuster.

If we're talking about PS5 bundles, you could add this on to the Spider-Man bundle I made in my previous post, and you'd still be just under $500.

Not going to lie, if I was yet to get a PS5 and play these games, and someone presented me that Frankenstinian bundle on Christmas morning, I'd love them forever. What a way to immediately kickstart a console's game library.

Whoever bought me them might not see me for like, two or three weeks because I'd be busy playing both games, but that's besides the point.

God of War Ragnarok | $69.99 $19.99 at Best Buy

I'd recommend the Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle, but you can get both parts cheaper if you buy them individually from Best Buy

Okay, so I wanted to try and find you guys some bundle offers, but in all honesty, I had to stop for a moment and think about how silly the ones at Amazon are.

For example, take the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 bundle at Amazon, which gets you the regular PS5 console (with a disk drive) and a copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for $624, down from $659. I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like your friendly neighbourhood PS5 bundle to me.

Head over to Best Buy, and you can get a PS5 Slim (with a disc drive) for $449.99 and a copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for $29.99, which comes to a total of $479.99. Now that sounds more like a Black Friday bundle. All you have to do is make it yourself.

What's the difference between the Victrix Pro BFG and BFG Reloaded?

A marketing image of the new Turtle Beach Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded on a purple background

Well, apart from a pricing gap of over $100 at the moment, there aren't many big differences between the original Victrix Pro BFG and the Reloaded model you might be seeing while you shop.

Long story short, Turtle Beach acquired PDP, the brand that makes these controllers, and it's slowly but surely been relaunching all of its controllers under the Turtle Beach name. That's happened to the BFG, but nothing has really changed about this controller except the price. Sure, the Reloaded model comes with Hall effect sticks as standard, which I'd be a big fan of (because I like that thumbstick tech), but it's meant a shift from one of the things that made the original BFG worth buying versus the PS5 controller competition. Turtle Beach is now trying to claim that this controller always cost $200 when it didn't - it launched at $179.99 and was priced there up until Turtle Beach made the acquisition, and the MSRP started moving around. (I know, because I've been tracking its price like a hawk since it launched)

So, buying the new model is fine - it's just the same great controller, and you do get Hall effect sticks as a bonus. But at the moment, there's no reason not to buy the original model while it's seeing a $100 discount over the new model.

For context, budget controller brands manage to put Hall effect technology inside controllers that cost $50 and under, so for Turtle Beach to claim that this one minor change to the BFG means it's somehow worth so much more? Yeah, I'm sorry, but I don't buy that.

If I were you, I'd buy the original model at $99.99 while you still can. I've never had any issues with stick drift despite using mine very regularly since it launched at the beginning of 2023.

A Helldiver planting a flag in Astro Bot

Oh, what's that, you thought I meant Helldivers 2? Well, if you asked me personally, I'd tell you Helldivers was game of the year for 2024, but if you ask Mr. Game Awards, he'll tell you it was Astro Bot.

Regardless of my squabbles with The Game Awards, you can get Astro Bot for a lower price than usual right now, which I know we've listed above, but I do still think it's one of the better PS5 game deals in this year's sale because it hasn't seen many price drops since launch.

A premium (and yet more affordable) alternative to the DualSense Edge...

Nacon Revolution 5 Pro with its RGB light ring on and its box of attachments open next to it

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

Nacon's super-charged PS5 pro controller is seeing a pretty hefty discount right now. Seeing as it's cheaper than the DualSense Edge and gives you more functionality, it might be worth a look if you're shopping for a new controller. It's also at a new record low price, if you care about making sure you're getting a genuine discount.

This is going to fit best in the hands of competitive gamers, and thanks to its build quality and size, it's also going to be better for those with larger hands. But four mappable back buttons and a whole toolbox of swappable parts will give you scope to make this feel like your own.

The thumbstick tension is a little loose for my liking, but this is absolutely one of the best controllers for PS5 money can buy, and at this sort of price, it's excellent value for money. If you want more comfort and you tend to play casual games, the DualSense Edge might be hard to beat, but for competitive players who don't like the look of the Victrix Pro BFG, Nacon's the solution.

Space Marine 2 4K texture pack shots

If you're looking to jump into a more affordable PS5 game, Amazon has Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 discounted to $29.99.

This is an excellent single-player action adventure game with epic levels and really fun combat that you definitely don't need to be a fan of Warhammer to enjoy. I know nothing about Warhammer, and I was still pulled right into the story, but the game's massive battles and power-fantasy combat were the things that pulled me through the experience. Honestly, what a fun game. Just talking about it is making me want to replay it.

So, before I do, consider this deal if you need a new PS5 game to jump into.

I feel duty-bound to tell you that two of this year's biggest AAA releases are seeing Black Friday discounts, so if you wanted either of these games earlier in the year but just couldn't stomach a $70 game, now's a good time to grab one, or maybe both if you have the budget.

First up is Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, which is down to $49.99. The second is Borderlands 4, which you can buy for a slightly more affordable $47.99.

A note on the PSVR 2 PC Adapter

PlayStation VR 2 PC support image showing the headset connected to a PC via the new adapter, and a monitor playing Half-Life Alyx

I was hoping to see a Black Friday deal on the PSVR 2 PC adapter, but as you'll know if you've been shopping for one for a while, it's hard to find the official version outside of the PlayStation Direct store.

Sony's one isn't discounted for Black Friday, which I suppose I can accept when PSVR 2 itself has a good bargain going. But Amazon's selection of third-party adapters are discounted.

Now, I'm super sceptical about these adapters. I've never tested them, and new third-party ones tend to pop up often under different seller names. Annoyingly, because of the way Amazon's listings work, it pulls through these products and doesn't do anything to alert shoppers to the fact that the product isn't official - especially when if they're using a lot of the same marketing images as official items.

"Rzkipdy" has an adapter at Amazon that looks very official, and it has a Prime Exclusive Black Friday discount going. But with 3 user reviews amounting to a 5-star rating, I'm not convinced there isn't something fishy going on here. If I were you, I'd stick to the official one at PlayStation Direct - even if it isn't discounted.

Psst, the PlayStation Portal is still discounted!

What should you get for the gamer in your life this Christmas?

Gran Turismo 7 isn't just a classic PlayStation franchise come to life on PS5; it's still counted as one of the must-try PSVR 2 games. It's also a harder one to try and get a hold of because, despite its age, it's often still up at full price, or around $50.

Thankfully, this game is still getting support and new content, so there's plenty to experience in it. Best Buy currently has it for a decent price too, so it might be one to pair with your new headset if you're making the most of PSVR 2's current discount.

I'm actually surprised this SSD is seeing a (somewhat) reasonable price

Seagate FireCuda 530

The Seagate FireCuda 530 has long been one of the most popular gaming SSDs, and for good reason. It's got excellent speeds and was one of the first SSDs that was designed with the PS5 in mind - it's actually more of a PC drive, but it did get some praise early on in the PS5's life for having an integrated heatsink, which at that point was pretty rare.

I've seen this drive disappear from the shelves so quickly and take months to restock - that's how popular it is. For that reason, it wasn't uncommon to find it at a more expensive price than the other SSDs. Over at Best Buy, it's seeing a pretty okay price considering the inflation on this kind of technology.

Should you buy the PS5 Pro at $649?

PS5 Pro next to monitor with Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart gameplay on screen

(Image credit: Future / Tabitha Baker)

With a $100 discount, the PS5 Pro seems pretty tempting right about now. If you have no interest in PC gaming at all, then this will give you the best console performance available, but it must be said that with the Steam Machine launching early in 2026, and other rumours about the PS6 coming sooner than we all expect, you might be better off waiting.

I'd definitely lean that way if you already have a PS5, because the performance boost the Pro will give you is really only going to be noticeable by a handful of users, and even if you have the right display, PS5 Pro ports of games are proving to come pretty slow, and arrive fairly buggy.

It's certainly a good deal if you've been waiting for this to see a price drop, but I'd personally lean toward getting a PC of some kind if you're willing to spend this sort of money - at least then you'd get more futureproofing if PS6 is, in fact, around the corner.

The updated version of our favorite Thrustmaster racing wheel is already discounted

The face buttons of the Thrustmaster T248

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

Until recently, the Thrustmaster T248 held the top spot on our racing wheel leaderboards for its solid selection of features for its reasonable $349 price. A few months ago, though, Thrustmaster launched an updated model, which we haven't been able to test out yet, but by all accounts is a better option at the same price.

The sim racing market is particularly competitive at the moment, but I didn't expect to see the brand new model of this wheel get discounted so early into its life. But hey, if you don't want to spend Logitech money on a more premium wheel, all the better for you.

You probably don't have long to grab the DualSense Edge at a discounted price

DualSense Edge review image showing the controller next to the original DualSense in Nova Pink

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

The DualSense Edge very rarely gets any sort of meaningful discount, so the deal below is one I definitely recommend if this controller has been on your shopping list for a while.

Granted, it was even cheaper last week, but with the frequency it returns to the discount shelf, I'd rather take this pretty reasonable discount than face another 8 or 9 months of it at full price.

Looking to get into content creation?

AverMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 with its RGB lighting array on

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

If you're looking to get started with livestreaming or some form of content creation, a capture card will come in really handy. Yes, you can use the PS5's integrated game capture features, but it will put extra strain on your system and can sometimes result in glitchy footage (trust me, I've tried using it a lot and it's ruined many a good clip).

The AverMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 is the best external capture card there is, and it has some excellent features for all sorts of content creators, allowing you to control the nitty-gritty of your recording. It can also allow high refresh rate passthrough, so your gameplay won't suffer while you're streaming or recording.

It launched at a high price, but has since fallen drastically. At its current price, it's an absolute steal.

This is one of 2025's best gaming headsets

A Fractal Scape headset on a gaming desk

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

The Fractal Scape finally launched this year after the brand teased it for about a year. Its super clean design isn't the only thing to like it for though, because its sound quality is pretty absurd for its current discount price.

If you want something comfortable that also does the basics of a gaming headset well, this is one to consider. It also manages to fit RGB lighting in without it looking too stereotypically gamer-y.

If you like to collect limited edition gaming gear, there have been a fair few special models of the DualSense that have launched in 2025. Usually, these cost more than the regular DualSense colorways, but right now, Best Buy has a bunch of them listed for $20 less than usual.

The list includes the 20th Anniversary God of War controller seen above, the gold Ghost of Yotei one, and the Fortnite model.

Let the record show that this is a recommendation through gritted teeth

Corsair MP600 Elite review image of the drive sitting on a wooden desktop

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

Okay, so I've covered SSDs for years, and I'd consider a good price (that was realistic to expect not too long ago) for a 1TB drive to be around $60-80. For a 2TB drive, I'd look for $120 as a marker for a good deal.

I'm going to recommend this deal because it's probably the best I can find right now, but based on the context above, I'm not happy about it. The Corsair MP600 Elite is a fantastic SSD, but its 1TB model is $95.99 at Amazon right now. For full transparency, that's actually more expensive than its average price at Amazon, but it's comparatively cheap to other PS5 drives. At least you get its heatsink for that money.

Storage prices kinda suck this year, but his heatsink is going cheap

Are you a competitive player? You need to know about this controller

Victrix Pro BFG review image showing close up of the front of the controller

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

If you want a PS5 controller you can customize to the games you play, or one you can mold into the perfect Esports controller for your hands, look no further than the Victrix Pro BFG. It has a modular design which means you can lift out its facial features and swap them around, or swap them out entirely depending on your preferences. It also has four back buttons and a bunch of clever attachments. I never thought I'd see it drift under $100, but here we are.

And while we're at it, here's an underrated headset

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P with limited edition and black accessories

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

If you're looking for some premium gaming headset features on a budget, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 is on offer. While a lot of folks will flock to the Nova Pro, or the budget options like the Nova 5 or 3, I think the 7 is actually a hidden sweet spot in terms of features for your money.

One of this year's most underrated games is on offer

Hell is Us takes a different approach to game design than most titles these days, and it refuses to hold your hand. Its world is rich and its gameplay fun, and in a year packed with great games, I wouldn't blame you for not hearing much about it.

It's currently seeing $20 off thanks to Black Friday.

PSA: PSVR 2 is a steal right now

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

If you've ever thought about adding PSVR 2 to your PS5 loadout, there's never been a better time. The Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle is down to just $299 at Amazon, which makes it cheaper than the 256GB model of the Meta Quest 3S, which I'd deem the best budget headset.

Remember when this thing cost more than the PS5?

Looking for a cheaper way to remote play?

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

If the PlayStation Portal is still a little pricey for you even at its discounted price, there is a cheaper way to remote play you PS5. The GameSir G8 Galileo isn't officially licensed by Sony, but somehow it gives you a seamless way to play PS5 on your mobile just like the official Backbone would.

The best part? It's much cheaper.

I'll be back tomorrow!

This big and bassy PS5 headset is $50 off right now

I like a lot of crunchy, gut-punching bass when it comes to the best PS5 headsets, and the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 provides.

If you're after a mid-range pair of cups that provides that perfect amount of "oomph" to make games like Doom Eternal sound absolutely sublime, this is the pair for you. It is a bit of a chunky boy, and the large foam padding on each cup isn't always very glasses-friendly, but it's easy to get passed that when you start to hear how it handles the lowest of frequencies right out of the box.

Unicorn Overlord is up there with my favorite games ever, and it's down to a record low on PS5

I'm a huge fan of pretty much every game the studio Vanillaware puts out, but Unicorn Overlord is definitely one of their best titles so far. The game features that gorgeous storybook style art the studio is known for, and a sprawling RPG that has elements of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy.

If you have a lot of free time and are in the mood for an RPG to play on your PS5, you won't be disappointed with what Unicorn Overlord has on offer, especially as you can grab it for its lowest ever price today. Just be prepared to sink at least 100 hours into this stunning PS5 game.

These are the best Black Friday PS5 deals for spooky game fans

Halloween has been over for a while now, but there's no wrong time to pick up and play a horror game, especially when there's plenty of spooky Black Friday deals afoot. Thanks to the influx of deals, you can grab cash off from a ton of horror PS5 games, from the Until Drawn remake to Silent Hill f, which just released months ago.

As the resident horror game girlie of the hardware team, I've gathered all the best PS5 horror game deals I've spotted so far down below. Just don't blame me if you end up needing to sleep with the light on next week.

I wasn't ever going to buy a DualSense Edge controller, but now I'm tempted

DualSense Edge review image showing the controller standing up against a pink PS5

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

Discount or no, the DualSense Edge never really caught my attention. That's partially because it doesn't fix one of my most glaring issues with its predecessor, the horrendous battery life. It's also because of its price, as $200 is a lot to spend on just a PS5 gamepad alone.

However, its current $169 deal price on PS Direct is definitely tempting me. Not only do I need a new controller in general, but I'm very much a fan of mappable back buttons. The controller is also equipped with adjustable stick sensitivity and swappable stick caps, which I'd personally love to have at my disposal. Our team's resident controller expert Duncan stated in his DualSense Edge review that the controller "feels like the next generation controller the DualSense promised to be," and that's making it harder than ever to ignore this Black Friday deal.

This Black Friday is a huge win for brand-new PS5 game deals

You can always bet on PS5 games getting cheaper over time, but this year's Black Friday deals have been extra incredible when it comes to brand-new releases.

Everything from Death Stranding 2 On the Beach to Ghost of Yotei has seen price drops on the lead up to November 28, and it's a great sight to behold. Well, it's not so great for my massive PS5 game backlog, but we don't have to think about that right now.

Silent Hill f Amazon Exclusive Day One Edition | $69.99 $49.94 at Amazon

This Hatsune Miku PS5 wired gaming headset is down to a record-low price

If you're a die-hard Vocaloid or Hatsune Miku fan, then do I have a PS5 deal for you. Right now, the lovely wired PS5 gaming headset is down to its lowest ever price of $94.99 at Best Buy.

Today's saving is only $5 off, which is absolutely tiny and not a saving I'd typically make a fuss about. However, this stunning Hatsune Miku edition headset rarely sees deals of any kind, and it's an officially licensed pair of cups, too. If you're a Vocaloid fan and are after a great-sounding wired headset with light-up Miku silhouettes on the cups, I'd grab this saving while you still can.

PSA - Double check your PS Plus library before you grab a PS5 game deal

This week's rare PlayStation Portal deal has arrived at the perfect time

It's been two years since the release of the PlayStation Portal, so I was most definitely expecting to see a price drop of some sort this Black Friday. However, what was a surprise was the release of a brand-new upgrade right before the Black Friday deals began, which made the PS Portal better than ever before.

Thanks to this update, you can stream PS5 games directly from your game library. Before, you could only stream games via the PlayStation Plus game library, which was useful but only if it was a PS Plus title that you wanted to play. I adore my PS Portal, but part of me wishes that I had waited for this $179.99 Black Friday deal. If you're grabbing it right now, just know I'm very jealous - especially as you can choose between the basic white model or the stunning Midnight Black version instead.

So long stick drift - Sony's official DualSense controllers are $20 off this week

Image of writer Phil Hayton holding a PS5 DualSense controller.

The DualSense is one of my favorite controllers out there, but I can't deny that it has an issue with stick drift. I have a storage box that's just a graveyard for broken-down PS5 controllers, and it's a pretty sad sight. Usually, I just grab a new one, but it gets pretty expensive over time, which is why I'm pleased to see them included in this year's Black Friday PS5 deals.

Look, I'm not happy to be advocating that you just buy a new controller every time stick drift rears its ugly head, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Personally, I prefer having a replacement as it means I still have access to the funky haptic tech that you'll only find in Sony's official pads. And hey, if you have a player two, this extra controller will come in handy.

I bought this monster of a PS5 game deal last night, and you should too

Monster Hunter Wilds

The moment I saw just how cheap Monster Hunter Wilds was this week, I knew I had a grab a copy. Thanks to the influx of Black Friday deals, the game has dropped as low as $30 at Amazon in the US, and last night it was as little as £17 in the UK.

I quickly grabbed a copy as a stocking present for my fiancé, as he adored Monster Hunter World but couldn't quite afford Wilds when it launched earlier this year. I hope he isn't reading this, as then the surprise will be ruined, but either way, I'm glad I was quick to grab it while there were still copies left. To my US pals, I recommend you do the same while it's still at a record low $30 price today.

Hello weary PS5 deal hunters. The hardware team and I are back once again to bring you every worthwhile Sony saving we can find while the Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) deals are flowing. There's a lot to cover, as 2025 has brought record-low savings on a huge list of PS5 games, controllers, and other accessories. Even some of my favorite PS5 bundles are included in this year's sales, so let's get down to it.
