Where to find the bulba anomaly dog collar in STALKER 2

The STALKER 2 bulba dog collar is hard to find, as the anomaly is lethal and players are likely to get killed if they even try to get close. With the bulba anomaly expending and contracting, players who get close are likely to get killed in just a few moments - which isn't ideal in a game as brutal as STALKER 2. We'll explain what you need to do below.

How to get the dog collar in the Bulba Anomaly

You'll find Nightingale when you first reach Zalissya, offering you a bet to see who can shoot the most blind dogs in Stalker 2. This leads to a small side mission called Nightingale's Hunt where you'll be tasked with the following:

  • Find the collar on a mutant near Bulba
  • Eliminate the pack of blind dogs
  • Find the collar on a mutant by the old mill

The pack of blind dogs and the mutant by the old mill are easy to find, but the collar is much harder to reach.

With Bulba being an extremely lethal anomaly it's not easy to search the area, although you can crouch and hug the scenery to avoid being sucked in and killed (use this to try and get the Weird Ball artifact between the two vans if you can for some protection from gunfire).

As you get closer to the centre, you should see several dead dogs, and the electronic collar lying nearby. Wait for the anomaly to contract, then quickly run out, grab the collar, and dive back for cover as fast as possible!

Once you have the collars, later on you'll then find out that Hamster, the merchant back at Zalissya, will buy the collars off you. He'll also mention that a scientist that doesn't want to come to the Zone is buying them.
