There are currently 11 Battlefield 6 maps for all players who own the game, and there's the massive Fort Lyndon map in the free-to-play Battlefield Redsec. Battlefield 3's classic Operation Firestorm returns, and the remaining 10 maps are all original, spread across the globe and featuring a range of environments, from urban Brooklyn, New York, to the mountain valleys of Tajikistan. With each map also being broken up into combat zones, almost every map can accommodate most game modes too. Below, we've laid out a list of all the Battlefield 6 maps, what you can expect from each one, and which maps are coming in the future.

Here's a list of all the maps available to players that own Battlefield 6:

  • Blackwell Fields (Added in Season 1 - Rogue Ops)
  • Eastwood (Added in Season 1 - California Resistance)
  • Empire State
  • Iberian Offensive
  • Liberation Peak
  • Manhattan Bridge
  • Mirak Valley
  • New Sobek City
  • Operation Firestorm
  • Saints Quarter
  • Siege of Cairo
  • Fort Lyndon (Battlefield Redsec only)

All maps are divided into "combat zones" which are essentially map variants that can accommodate differently scaled Battlefield 6 modes (if you want to know which maps support which modes, check the linked guide!).

For example, Liberation Peak is a large map that you can play large and small modes on. For Conquest, you play on the full map, known as Ridge 13, but for Breakthrough, you play a slightly smaller version called Medevac Mile. For the infantry-only Domination mode, you play in an even smaller area known as Iron Pass. The map you're on might inform which of the Battlefield 6 classes you pick too.

Below we've listed some more details about each map, including which Battlefield 6 vehicles are available on each one, assuming you're playing a large-scale game mode that supports vehicles.

Blackwell Fields is set in an old oil field in the California Badlands. It's essentially a ridge of dusty hills with various oil derricks, infrastructure for extracting and refining oil, and military bases scattered around acting as deployment zones and objectives. Cover is minimal so expect to be shot from almost anywhere.

As a suburban map, Eastwood features a mix of decently sized houses to battle in and over and a central golf club with a clear green suitable for vehicles to drive around to quickly get across the map with minimal cover. There are also plenty of roads weaving between the many residential buildings, while helicopters to soar above the palm trees to rain destruction.

Future and upcoming multiplayer maps in Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 will be getting more maps added to the game as part of its free monthly seasonal content drops. Although, at time of writing, we don't know of any more coming.

As per our Battlefield 6 roadmap, we know that the Winter Offensive update will add a special iced over version of Empire State ("Ice Lock") but only for a limited time. This obviously isn't a new map either, so hopefully some new and interesting locales will be added during Season 2 - we wouldn't be surprised if one of them is another classic from Battlefield 3 or 4.

Of course, there's also Battlefield Portal which includes the ability to modify and alter existing maps into experiences, though that's down to the community.
