Codemasters gets criminal in HEI$T

HEI$T is the title of a just-announced game for PC and consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) that chucks players into the big bad shoes of criminals running amok in San Francisco in 1969.

Specifically, you'll be robbing banks, pulling jobs, getting caught up in high-speed car chases with cops and shoot-outs as you work toward your ultimate goal - breaking into the San Francisco Mint. Sounds a bit like Ocean'sEleven meets Bullitt.

HEI$T's publisher Codemasters fills us in on the plot: "It's 1969, the summer of love in San Francisco. Enter Johnny Sutton, fresh out of jail and a descendant from a long line of big-time thieves, including his father who was gunned down during a job some years back."
